A day in the life...

Day 33. 23.11.11 Today was better, i spent it with my friends, tried not to think about yesterday. I got a heap of wedding magazines and a cute wedding organizer! I found a picture of a dress I really like and it’s in Adelaide, so I can’t wait to try it on!! After our magazine reading, I had to go to my sisters graduation, it was super boring and I spent most of the time looking at rage comics on my phone. I came home at like 10.15! Hung out with Matt a bit and then went to bed. I’m getting old haha. Hope everyone had a nice day! My picture is of my puppy (not so puppy anymore she’s almost two) hiding in the couch, it’s her fave place to sleep haha. She always makes me smile. Jessie :)

Day 30. 20.11.11 Still in my engagement bubble, I headed to work. Luckily it went really fast! After work, our friends Leigh and Amanda came over, Amanda helped Matt pick the ring! She brought over some of the magazines she used for her wedding for me to look at. Then we headed to my parents for Chinese and delicious cheesecake, we had baked chocolate marble cheesecake and caramel cheesecake. They were delectable. After tea we headed to my parents friends house to drop off my dads trailer. This Saturday there is drag racing back at AIR for the first time in like 10 years and dads friend is racing. Im heaps excited to smell burnt rubber and methanol again!! WOO!! Jessie :)

Day 30.

Day 29. 19.11.11 I got engaged. Enough said. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! It was our 4 year anniversary and I am the happiest girl in the world!!!!!!!

Day 28. 18.11.11 IT WAS SO DAMN HOT TODAY!! no matter how cold I had the air con at work, every time a delivery came, the rollerdoor would open and all the cool air would go out! After work, we headed to our friends place for BBQ, drinks and ice cream. We had a lovely night!! Apart from the mozzies! Headed home about 12.30 and crashed out!! Jessie :) x

Day 27. 17.11.11 Work was pretty stock standard today, few things to do but I wasn’t feeling super. Hayfever and it was getting kinda hot so I wasnt coping lol. I left work and got petrol and a Gatorade. Sat on my couch and ate spinach and ricotta cannelloni that I made the night before. The Gatorade made me feel better, must have been the electrolytes lol. Matt worked late and I stayed up watching jail shows like i do every Thursday lol. Jessie :) xx

Day 27.

Day 26. 16.11.11 Day off today!! I had my car booked in at 8am to get the windows tinted, finally!! So got up early to drive down to port Adelaide. After we dropped the car off, we went to the shops where I got super adorable snoopy sailor pyjamas, and wedges for the Xmas party so I can stand on the grass! Yay! Haha. We came home and ended up napping until it was time to pick up the car. Then i ate a huge bowl of popcorn and felt a bit sick.. TCame home again and tried to think of something to do. Matt needed new thongs as he wore through his other pair, so we drove down to Marion to do some more shopping haha. Visited some friends who work in the centre, Matt got his thongs from jetty surf, and I got a bargain maxi dress for $12.95 and an adorable floral skirt for $14.95! Yay!! I had Mexican for lunch, although it wasn’t really authentic tasting, the frijoles tasted like it had carrot or pumpkin mashed up with it, and they used ranch sauce instead of sour cream?? Random! Had an early night as I was falling asleep on the couch anyway!! Jessie :) xx

Day 25. 15.11.11 Long day at work! Started of by the office comp dying! Which is the main pc, with email and all my files! Argh! That didnt get fixed until 3pm and I still didnt have my files back! Had a shocking sleep last night with Matt getting home at 12am, me not getting to sleep until 1am, then waking up at 6am! Bah! Today being Tuesday, I headed to Laurens after dinner for our weekly tea/gossip/baking night! Today was Lauren’s sister Nicole’s birthday, so we got to enjoy chocolate ripple cake! YUM!!! Long day at work! Started of by the office comp dying! Which is the main pc, with email and all my files! Argh! That didnt get fixed until 3pm and I still didnt have my files back!
Had a shocking sleep last night with Matt getting home at 12am, me not getting to sleep until 1am, then waking up at 6am! Bah!
Today being Tuesday, I headed to Laurens after dinner for our weekly tea/gossip/baking night! Today was Lauren’s sister Nicole’s birthday, so we got to enjoy chocolate ripple cake! YUM!!! I came home fairly early due to my crappy sleep last night. Have to get up early tomorrow to take my car to get the windows tinted! Why did I make it 8am??? Bah!

No photo today. It was a very sad day. It would have been my cousins 20th birthday. She passed away in march this year. I went to visit her with mum and my sister, and left her flowers.

Day 23. 13.11.11 Unfortunately I woke up at 8am this morning! I can never sleep in on my days off! Had to wait a while for Matt to wake up so I had breakfast, multi grain weetbix, but dry! It was so tasty haha. We went to Matt’s parents to drop something off, then came home and I set up the Xmas tree!! Took me about an hour? Really need to buy new, fresh tinsel. The stuff we have is from when i was a kid!! Then we did a spot of grocery shopping and came home for lunch! Holley had been in such a weird mood all day so we decided after tea we would take her on a walk. Even after the walk she was still being odd, I’m putting it down to the heat! Watched HIMYM, big bang theory and community, and now here I am in bed writing this. Early start tomorrow, and I bet I will struggle hard to wake up!! Goodnight! Jessie :) x

Day 22. 12.11.11 Woke up at 7.30 to get ready to pick up Kim. We were going to the pageant!! I don’t think I’ve been since I went once when I was about 7! We stood on finders street and luckily we got a spot in the shade! I saw my friend Josh who was a clown! And Kim saw her friend Janet from work who was in one of the matching bands! After the pageant we headed to rundle mall to have some brunch. We went to a cafe and saw they had a pizza special, but they were only serving breakfast for the next half an hour! Seeing as pizza was mentioned, that’s what we really wanted! So we walked down to scoozis on rundle street but they were only doing breakfast till 12! With an hour to kill, we ended up going into T2! I love that shop! Kim’s friend is the boss there so we chatted to her about tea, sampled lots of teas and awed over the pretty tea pots and tea cups! We both bought a box of white Christmas tea which our friend Lauren bought back from Sydney with her last year. This was before there was a T2 in Adelaide! Then we headed to bimbo and Bauhaus where Kim and I bought a cute little wooden Xmas ornament! I got a white one and Kim got a red one. By this time it was 12 so we went back to scoozis to get pizza! Mmm!! We got a large margarita pizza to share and I had a strawberry nectar. Yum! Kim wanted coffee, and I suggested getting coffee gelato as it was hot haha. Gelatissimo was so close so we walked there, but then decided to have a look in the vintage store next to it. I got a lovely aqua blue 40/50’s dress and Kim got a white shift dress and cute sunnies! Finally we got gelato and then headed towards the bus stop. I dropped Kim home and then went home to nap. I slept for about an hour and woke up when Matt got home. Then he slept for a while too! We had burgers and hot chips for dinner (Mmm), and then Matt dropped me off at Lauren’s for our girls night! We made many margarita concoctions, ate banana, choc chip, and apple muffins. Tim tams too. We made a cake which was peppermint chocolate (amazing!) and read magazines and gossiped. Matt picked me up about 12.30 as I was ready to crash. All in all, I had a lovely day! Day 21. 11.11.11 Worked about 11.5 hours today. Had a massive sale to set up for! Had a pretty cruisey day, decorated the store with Xmas things, blew up 100 helium balloons and spent 3 hours writing tickets! I didn’t get to eat lunch which was pretty crap. Luckily I had some snacks throughout the day to keep me going, or I would have fainted! Wisdom teeth are feeling a lot better but still painful! Arghh :( got home about 7pm and Matt didn’t get home till about 8! We really didn’t do much except sit on the couch and watch tv for the rest of the night! Jessie x

Day 20. 10.11.11 Woke up at 5am crying cause I was in agony! Realised one of my wisdom teeth were coming through. OW! Could barely speak and I couldn’t close my mouth! Dragged my sorry butt to work, counting the hours till the chemist opened! Went over there and got panadene extra. Strongest thing I could get over the counter! Had to wait ages to get it though! Ugh. After I took that and it kicked in, I was feeling much better. The swelling in my gum also settled. Work went pretty fast which was good! Have heaps to do tomorrow though. Came home and relaxed on the couch for a bit, then got my eyebrows waxed. Feels so good! I no longer look like an ape haha. I went down to Gepps to see everyone and also cancel my layby haha. It was lovely to see the old crew! The store looked different now I’ve been at another store! Got home and have been watching reality shows all night and sitting on tumblr! Waiting for Matt to get home so I can go to bed! Night all :) Jessie xx
